What are the stages of MCL?

Staging helps doctors assess how mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is expected to progress over time and also to develop a treatment plan.

MCL Stages
• Stage 1: One lymph node region or a single organ above the diaphragm in the mid-section of the body
• Stage 2: Two or more lymph node regions on the same side of the diaphragm
• Stage 3: Two or more lymph node regions above and below the diaphragm
• Stage 4: Widespread disease in lymph nodes and/or other parts of the body
